Privacy Policy
Effective July 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Trissino Inc ("CHIKUWA", "we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the demo request form on it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the demo request form we collect the work email address you enter and the practice type you select. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message.
Marketing attribution data. When you arrive from an advertisement or a link, we record the campaign parameters in the URL (for exampleutm_source,gclid, orfbclid), the page you landed on, and the referring website. This lets us know which campaigns produce genuine interest.
Usage and device data. Our analytics and advertising providers automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, payment card details, government identifiers, or veterinary patient records.
How we use information
- To respond to your demo request and contact you about the closed beta.
- To send you product updates you have asked for, which you can stop at any time.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including counting how many people who clicked an ad went on to request a demo.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot this website, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: understanding site traffic, and measuring advertising performance.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads — used to measure traffic and to record when an ad click results in a demo request. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta Pixel — used to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage your ad preferences in your Meta ad settings.
- Vercel Analytics — aggregate, privacy- preserving traffic measurement for the site itself.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not prevent you from using this website or submitting the form. This website does not respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no common standard for them; we do honor Global Privacy Control signals where our providers support them.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run our business. These currently include our website and hosting provider, our email and internal messaging tools (a demo request is delivered to our team's internal workspace), and the analytics and advertising providers named above. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
How long we keep information
We keep demo request details for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on your interest, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider's own retention settings. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security and data location
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit and access controls limiting who on our team can view demo requests. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Information collected through this website is stored and processed primarily in the United States. Some of the service providers we rely on, such as our hosting, email, and analytics vendors, may process or back up data in other countries on our behalf.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message, or by emailing us. You may also ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to provide a copy, or to delete it. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the rights described above, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above we do not sell personal information. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights. To exercise a right, email taka@trissinoai.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
This website is intended for veterinary professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Intended audience
CHIKUWA is currently offered to veterinary practices in the United States. This website is not directed to residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and we do not currently offer services there.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
